What we are

Polymarkets Kenya is a prediction markets platform. Markets are simple, time-limited questions about future events — sports, politics, finance, culture and more. You take a position on an outcome at a price that reflects the crowd's current probability, and if you are right you are paid out at resolution. Prices move as new information arrives, turning collective knowledge into a live probability.

Who operates the platform

Polymarkets Kenya is operated by Lexai Technologies, a company incorporated in Kenya. We are committed to operating transparently, resolving markets fairly against verifiable public sources, and protecting user funds.

How markets resolve

Every market has clearly stated resolution rules and a resolution source published before trading opens. Trading on a market closes at a stated time — for events with a knowable outcome, trading stops before that outcome can be observed, so no one can trade on a result that is already decided. Markets are then resolved against the stated source, and winning positions are paid.

Deposits & withdrawals

Deposits and withdrawals are processed via M-Pesa. For your protection, withdrawals can only be sent to a phone number you have previously deposited from. All balances are held in an integer-cents ledger with double-entry accounting, and platform solvency is continuously monitored.

Fairness & integrity

Market prices are set by an automated market maker, not by the house taking a side. The platform's economics are transparent, and every trade and settlement is recorded in an immutable ledger. We reserve funds against every open market's worst-case payout so that winners can always be paid.

Responsible participation

Only participate with money you can afford to lose, and only if you are of legal age. Prediction markets involve risk. If you feel your participation is becoming harmful, please reach out to Support.
